The thought of selling our home after 26 years was a formidable one. There was REAL history behind this extraordinary property, going back well over a century. It became a true labor of love as we brought both the house and land into the 21st century while, at the same time, honoring the significance of its past. When we met Dawn Hadley for the first time and explained our thoughts, she clearly understood how difficult a process this transaction would be for us, but she never batted an eye! She immediately realized the need to tread carefully as she guided us through this daunting decision of ours. It must have been even more daunting because this was truly NOT going to be your “typical” real estate transaction! We very soon discovered what kind of realtor Dawn was! She clearly knew her stuff! Throughout this entire process, she listened carefully to our questions and worked relentlessly to put the pieces of our historical puzzle together. She was undeterred by my initial trepidation and won us both over by her knowledge and understanding of her business. Whenever a decision needed to be made, Dawn always took the time to explain her thoughts and the reasons behind them. We never felt as though she was too busy to respond immediately. The sale has just gone through and, by the time this happened, Dawn had introduced us to the most perfect family who showed that they cared enough about all the things we had worried over. We feel happy knowing that their three children will have as much fun exploring this special place as our children did. I am indebted to Dawn for her exuberant personality (very contagious), commitment to our goals, and patience whenever it was called for. We truly couldn’t have been in better hands!
